we are following to big breaking two big breaking stories right now on eyewitness news this morning. two gunmen rolled into a home near the ucf campus the search to find them. "breaking news" overseas, the deadly explosions at a brussels airport and a metro station that sent the terror threat level there to its maximum level. >> that story continues develop by the minute. here, 11 a.m. stands at around 13 people. it's changing by the minute we will keep you posted your time here 6 a.m. on this tuesday march 22. we get started with weather and traffic, syed farook watching the road, let's get over to marina jurica with the weather we have not seen temperatures like this, for a few weeks, it will be a wake-up call for you. as we headed to the day we will rebound very nicely. our northwesterly wind will turn easterly and southeasterly

rest of the week. i sigh touch of fog driving in, but nothing that will hinder your morning commute. 36 ocala, 36 palm coast, 49 orlando, 43 kissimmee, 57 is a hotspot at cocoa beach. on top of the 20-degree temperature drop we saw yesterday, we are adding up to 30-degree temperature drop today, it is cooler, and you will feel it. as we head into the afternoon with plenty of sunshine and calm her winds this afternoon. i will track that beach forecast for you coming up in just a few minutes. how do those roads were? not looking too bad, earlier we looked at i-4 at ivanhoe, right here you have your traffic heading to the east off to your right hand side of the screen right there. no major issues of construction cleared out of there as well. it's looking good both eastbound and westbound, but i- 4 westbound at the s -- exit

might still blocked off by a disabled vehicle. not having too many issues just keep in mind as you're getting off that ramp and you will be doing that soon. we are following "breaking news" this morning in belgium where police say 13 people are dead following two explosions at an airport in brussels and that another -- another at a metro station. >> airport authorities say the passengers were evacuated from the building about outside of the tarmac. they also say the explosions caused several other injuries. at this point we understand 35 people have been injured. all flights have been canceled, some are being diverted. the metro system across belgium has been shut down. witnesses say it looked like a war zone. >> i walked through a mass, a lot of stuff, glass, metal, smoke, water dripping from the ceiling. we had to walk to puddles.

>> belgium's interior minister has set the terror level there to maximum. these explosions come days after authorities arrested the prime suspect in the deadly paris terrorist attacks. salah abdeslam. we will continue monitoring this as more information comes in. this happened about 8 a.m., right during the rush hour commute there in brussels. about an hour after that, 9 a.m. brussels time there was an explosion at the metro station. we will continue to follow all the details for you throughout the morning both on air and on wftv. com. closer to home, more "breaking news", this time in seminole county. devotees are looking four 2 suspects in an armed home invasion of the ucf campus. eyewitness news this morning's angela jacobs is there on the scene, angela, investigators say they do have some leads? >>reporter:they do, jamie, but they are not saying exactly what those leads are. we found that they have wrapped up their investigation here, on the scene, that went on for more than three hours. as shifts now, they tell us to

it was just after 1 a.m. when the people that live at this ucf area apartment complex say two men kicked in their the door, and rushed into the apartment along portofino point. our cameras got the investigation, everton -- after deputies told us at least one of the suspects had a gun. both intruders made off as an unknown amount of electronics taken from the home. we are told no one was injured, and what's being called an armed home invasion as investigators were to find out how the men got away. >> so far, we also have not been given a clear description of the suspect. this complex is not gated, and not affiliated with the university, but it is an area where many ucf students live. it's now one -- investigators are combing hoping to get the suspect under arrest. again, we are told there were no injuries in this home invasion, but also still no arrest. coming up in the next 30 minutes, we will let you know some of the challenges investigators are facing in the

live in seminole county, angela jacobs, eyewitness news this morning. right now, the gun man who opened fire into a crowd in apopka is still on the loose. >> this was "breaking news" yesterday on eyewitness news at 4 p.m. as we found out this 18-year- old died in the shooting along 15th street. eyewitness news this morning's janai norman is live at the sheriff's office. the victim's girlfriend says he could not outrun the gunfire >>reporter:she says 18-year-old drake alliance tried to get away yesterday afternoon but could not. in our deputies here are searching for the gun man. drake brian's girlfriend told eyewitness news, she believes he was targeted. [ crying ] she showed us pictures, and her phone, taken just days before she says someone pointed a gun at the teenager and pulled the trigger for times. debbie say the crowd of about 30 people took off trying to outrun the gunfire. brian's girlfriend asked only to go by shea, and she says she was just steps behind bryant when he fell near a playground

street. >> i was with him. i saw all this. updated on the progress of deputies searched for the shooter, but coming up at 6:45, we are talking more with witnesses about the area where the shooting happened and sharing their pleas for change. live in orange county, janai norman, eyewitness news this an investigation is underway after the orange county swat team raided a suspected drug house. we told you about that last night out -- as it was breaking on eyewitness news at 10 p.m. a tip led them to this, garwood drive. no one was inside at the time, detectives detective said he found money, guns, and 15 pounds, as you can see there of marijuana that is worth more than $45,000 are searching for a missing 12- year-old who they say maybe what her cell phone. jaden ramirez. they say she was last seen in corporative lake mary

we are following "breaking news" out of brussels, belgium. the capital of europe. brussels media reporting this morning that 13 people have been dead and explosions in the airport and subway station there. a sickly bringing brussels to a complete standstill during rush hour. 2 explosions ripped through the departure hall at the airport of brussels, about an hour later and explosion happened at the metro station. several people were injured in that explosion, all public transportation across brussels has been close. that includes airplanes, trains . we are monitoring what is happening we will have updates about the morning closer to home, daytona beach police are looking for the man who tried to lure a 14- year-old girl into his car. take a look at the sketch of

we spoke to the teenager , stewart, who says she was walking alone friday night when the man went up to her. he demanded she come closer, and asked her where she was going. stuart says she stood there frozen with fear. >> finally, i just gained a sense, it just was like okay, scream >> she says she screamed, and the man drove off in a blue jag wire. you can help police by sharing the sketch to facebook.com/wftv the man accused in a deadly shooting outside an adult nightclub is waking up in jail, this morning. the judge denied on for louis citroen on monday. he shot and killed carlos cruz in the parking lot of the diamond club on sunday morning. they say it started as a fight. deputies say there have been a lot of fights and drunk calls at the club in the last year. investigating allegations in an orange county deputy orange county deputy pulled a gun on a driver in a road rage incident. that incident happened on highway 50 of florida avenue in claremont this -- earlier this month. richard ballantine did not want to show us his face but he said deputy joseph tailgated him for

after he pulled his gun. the officer has been stripped of his gun and badge. state prosecutors will decide now if he faces any charges a new case of zika virus has been confirmed at central florida. a case confirmed in osceola county. 2 cases were found in miami- dade and broward area that brings the total number, and florida, 271. all of those patients got the virus while traveling outside the country. health officials do not think the virus is in our local mosquito population. this morning disney is looking into what caused a small fire on a float during the festival of the lion king shall animal kingdom. if you are posted this video on social media moments after the fire started yesterday afternoon. you can see a lot of smoke there and people trying to get out as fast as they can from the theater.

this morning we are still dealing with a frost advisory for marion county until 9 a.m. that area. we are going to be looking at a chilly start in the by tomorrow degrees warmer. 36 ocala, 41 deland and the villages, 49 orlando, 43 cocoa beach. our winds are much quieter, and you will feel that difference the minute you walk out the door. northwesterly at about 5 miles per hour along the i-4 court are moving west and then up to brevard and along the through the day today will be lovely, temperatures will rebound from a chilly start . sunny and comfortable this afternoon. a milder night tonight but it will still be on the cool side. hour by hour showing we might get a little cloud coverage in southern brevard county from cocoa beach down into melbourne as we head into the late afternoon and evening hours. otherwise just pristine sunshine for the rest of us as we head into the day. downtown orlando 50s will return by 9:30 a.m., lunch hour

we are going to be topping out in the mid- 70s, so it's going to be a very pretty day. orange county today is looking good from metrowest at 75 degrees, 77 lake bonavista from bel air which we will be looking at about 75, 76 downtown as well as below, also waterford lakes looking really nice at about 76 degrees. tonight about 10 degrees warmer in the 50s, 47 still left over in ocala, the cocoa beach comes up to 63. 5day forecast, with your weekend always in view. we should know today how much three trash haulers will have to pay out for problems orange county. haulers miss pickups, leave they even say if the trashbin's are too full, the workers to store the excess trash into the street. solid waste department says it will now find three haulers are

we continue to follow "breaking news" out of brussels -- brussels, belgium. at least 13 people are dead airport in brussels. in the last few minutes a belgian prosecutor says the a suicide bomber. >> airport authorities say the passengers were led to a tarmac for safety. we are hearing about 2 explosions at the airport, another one at a metro station. they also say the explosions caused us several other injuries. all flights have been canceled. witnesses say they were not sure what was going on. >> i don't know. >> we were close enough that it got our attention. [inaudible] >> we are also hearing from other witnesses, at the airport, the associated press is tweeting that people are describing the airport covered

as you can imagine belgium has pretty much shut down transportation in brussels has been shut down, we are continuing to monitor the story . we will keep you updated as we get more and more details coming across the wires and of course social media >> this comes just a few days after the main suspect in the paris attacks was apprehended, brussels is primarily a french speaking french-speaking city, it's also known as the capital because the headquarters is right across the street from the metro station where that third explosion occurred. obviously they are looking at what ties can potentially be to that arrest. >> leaders warned yesterday we could see another attack in retaliation, because of that arrest and now this is what we are seeing today. more details, more photos and video coming into the newsroom and we will continue to keep you updated switching gears here, we check weather and traffic every 10 minutes. he will get started with meteorologist, marina jurica and our culture and continues. >> that's right, we have brought ourselves back into winter cycle front. do not worry we have a nice warm-up on the way.

drive at pine hills road. this one is just blocking one line, you can still get through there, no need for it alternate. i will attune of the changes. more "breaking news" now closer to home, this time, in seminole county deputies are looking for two men who broke into an apartment overnight. >> that break and happen near the ucf campus that's near lafayette trail trial right on the orange county seminal county line. eyewitness news this morning's angela jacobs is out there, on the scene, and angela, best to get to stay at least one of the suspects had a gun? >>reporter:yeah, it had to be a terrifying experience for these victims who were confronted with this, now investigators say they are using whatever information those victims can give them to help try and find the suspects. our cameras caught the nearly three-hour investigation is deputies were on the scene gathering evidence for this -- into this armed home invasion near ucf. buddies told us 2 intruders kicked in the door of an apartment near portofino.near one -- before 1 a.m.

none of the intruders had a gun. they made off with an unknown amount of electronics that were taken from that unit. investigators are working to find out how the men got away. they told us they do have leads, but did not elaborate on what those leads were. so far, we have not been given a clear description of the suspects, or vehicle, if one of us involved. we also do not know what was taken in addition to those stolen electronics. at one point, we learn, the victims may still be putting together a list for detectives. again, no injuries, on the scene, fortunately. but also no arrest. we will continue to stay in touch with investigators, throughout the morning and bring you the updates as they come in. live and seminal in seminole county, angela jacobs, eyewitness news this morning president obama's trip to cuba wraps up today following his historic meeting with cuban president castro. abc's marcy gonzales has a look of the present busy schedule >>reporter:this is president obama's last day here in cuba, and it is an important one.

state troopers want your help finding a driver accused of hitting a bicyclist and then leaving them for dead on the side of the road. they say 54-year-old stephen terry was riding his bike along courtney parkway in merritt island and he fell and then got hit by a pickup. he later died. they say that driver may not have been at fault, if they had not left the scene. >> is unfathomable, to me, that that. there is no saying that it would have made a difference, if they stayed, but now we will never know. >> state troopers say that truck may have been a gmc sonoma or a chevy s10 it likely has damage to its front end and undercarriage. the state attorney's office is now reviewing cases involving three kissimmee police officers who may have lied in court. officers tiffany hall, felix [ name indescernible ] , and taylor mcphee have been suspended with pay. the public defender's office says at least one of the officers testimony, and police report, in a drug arrest did not match what was captured on surveillance video. it's unclear which officers are in the video.
